Hi, SL Redd. Can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My story begins in the spring of 2015 in Detroit, MI. This is when I started my entertainment company, MI Hustle Entertainment LLC (aka MIHUSTLEENT). I started my company to maintain creative control and structure of my social media content. Since I started my business, I’ve generated income from numerous sources for music, videos, etc., that I’ve posted. This also led to new partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, there will be obstacles when you are a small start-up. The biggest obstacle is funding. If you are lucky enough to have a funding source, use the funds effectively to generate more revenue so that the business eventually begins to fund itself.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist/songwriter/content creator. Around Phoenix, I am known for my crowd-engaging performances and flashy merch! As of recent, my proudest moment has been the release of my solo recorded album “Madam Mayhem.” Not only is this my first solo album, but it also contains instrumentals created by myself. What sets me apart is my overall style and delivery. Viewers/listeners appreciate the content I deliver because it promises to be captivating and exhilarating.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories are singing songs with my family on road trip vacations.
