Hi Sheldon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, my name is Sheldon Cooper. The founder of the Arizona Cannabis Awards Music Festival. It all started in Las Vegas. Started throwing the Nevada Cannabis Awards Music Festival. We had such a great response from our show we started expanding to California, Arizona, and Oklahoma. Now we throw one of the biggest cannabis awards shows in Arizona.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t a smooth road. Every year as cannabis activists we had to fight to throw these events. Our first show started in 2019. This was a truly remarkable experience at the Hard Rock Cafe located on the Las Vegas strip. Then covid started so it was a challenge. We never gave up and kept on fighting for the people.
As you know, we’re big fans of the Arizona Cannabis Awards Music Festival. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Arizona Cannabis Awards music Festival has set a new record for the state. We have set the record for the most trophies giving out a cannabis awards ceremony with 52 winners. This has set us apart from any other brand.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
We have learned a lot of lessons from covid. It has shown our festival how to prepare different safety measures to keep everyone safe.
