Meet Shawn and Mitra Mozoon of Nature’s Secret CBD

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn and Mitra Mozoon.

Hi Shawn and Mitra, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We are a locally and family-owned small business. We opened our first Nature’s Secret CBD location in 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. We then moved to Scottsdale and opened our second location in DC Ranch in 2019 and our third in Paradise Valley in 2020. We absolutely love what we do and love living in the Valley.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy to be a small business owner especially because of Covid. We remained open but business was very, very slow for a long time. We watched other businesses close up shop left and right through the pandemic, and we feel so blessed and grateful to still be here serving The Valley, doing what we love every day.

We believe we are the best place to buy CBD in the valley. Being in this industry since 2017 and owning three locations has taught us so much about what our customers want and need. We really take the time to talk to each guest and try our best to guide them towards the best products for their unique needs. We have a great selection and we know our stuff. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Definitely a combination of a few things. First and foremost, we BELIEVE in what we do and what we are selling. We use CBD in our own family and if we don’t love a product ourselves, it doesn’t make it to our shelves. Secondly, it’s very important to us to give our guests peace of mind that they are getting the best products possible. We want you to use the product, love it and come back to see us again. We genuinely care about people and it brings us such joy to know we are helping people feel better with a natural product like CBD. We have created a beautiful and safe space for people to come in and ask questions, try free samples and choose the right products for their needs.
