Meet Sharelle Wilbert of Shot By Sade Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharelle Wilbert.

Sharelle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m 30 years old, born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I picked up my first camera in 2009. From there, I fell in love with Photography. After the birth of my daughter in 2012, I took a break to focus more on my family but photography was always in the back of my mind, and I remembered how badly I missed capturing people and how much I was in love with photography.

In 2017, I started my own photography business called Shot By Sade. In 2018, was the spark of my career, I had the opportunity to shoot for Phoenix fashion week fashion show where I met a lot of great designers, artist, and models. My camera has shot everything including nature, family, and sports but my main specialty has always been fashion, beauty, and portrait photography.

I’m still learning and growing every single day with my camera, and I’m truly grateful for every person who chooses me as their photographer.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Photography definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There’s been a few bumps in the road, but it’s all easy sailing when you realize how much your talent is worth. Some struggles I’ve dealt with was finding people to photograph that actually have a passion or a story to tell.

Another struggle I would say is getting booked! A lot of people want free photos and not pay for good quality work. I learned once people see that you believe in yourself anything is possible, including getting booked for paid photoshoots.

I’m a professional photographer. I specialize in fashion, beauty, and portrait photography. I am proud to be a self-made small business owner.

What sets me apart from others is, I have a very clean, chic, and colorful look about my photography. My work is very eye-catching.

Do you feel luck has played a role in your life?
Luck has definitely played a part in my life. I live a pretty positive lifestyle, and I believe in my talents. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself first.
