Meet Shannon Gillette of Gillette Group at Launch Real Estate in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Gillette.

Shannon leads the Gillette Group AZ at Launch Real Estate. She is hardworking, dedicated and a great listener. She is always available to help her clients and prides herself in her prompt response time. Her approachable demeanor makes everyone feel comfortable. Your goals become hers, with customer service as a top priority. Shannon is a multi-million dollar producer and has personally sold and closed hundreds of homes over her twelve year Real Estate career, earning numerous awards for her achievements.

Shannon was named as one of the top 40 agents under the age of 40 in 2017 and 2018 for the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors. She is also a featured guest on the TV show AZ Luxury Tour and has appeared on many industry magazine covers, featured articles and more for her achievements. Over 90% of her business comes from referral and it’s no surprise that she maintains a top 5 star online review rating from her past clients. Shannon also volunteers her time training and mentoring new Realtors through one on one mentoring and guest speaker roles.

Shannon grew up in Chandler, Arizona. She can sell real estate anywhere in the valley but she specializes in the Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek & San Tan areas. Shannon has a true passion for serving. She is very involved in her Church and is also the co-founder of a local non-profit that helps the Phoenix homeless community. For every home closed, Shannon makes a generous donation to help fight homelessness in Maricopa County through the Purpose Project. She currently resides in Queen Creek with her husband, three boys and two rescue dogs.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My first year of selling Real Estate (2007) the market was starting to decline. I was selling new homes in Florence, Arizona. Many Realtors were leaving the industry, new home builders were doing a ton of layoffs and downsizing. It was a scary time. I was selling in a market where you truly needed to provide the best experience possible and truly sell. I stayed positive and focused. I worked hard. The next year (2008) I ended the year as the top new home sales consultant in the Country, for the nation’s largest builder. At 23 years old, this was a huge accomplishment for me. I found so much joy in helping people find their home. This is when I knew Real Estate was my passion and it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Successful Realtors have a genuine care for people. Not just their clients, but the people living within their communities as well. When researching which Real Estate Agent to hire, you may also want to ask them how they give back. Do they freely give their time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return? Those questions will tell you a lot about the true character of your Realtor.

Community involvement is a key focus of the Gillette Group. When you hire the team to represent you on your real estate transaction you are helping with these efforts. Shannon is the co-founder of a local nonprofit (apurposeproject.org). The non-profit works with people experiencing homelessness in Downtown Phoenix. Volunteers help provide meals, shelter and necessities to help make a difference. Shannon also volunteers with her local real estate board’s community outreach committee.

For every home closed, Shannon makes a generous donation to help fight homelessness in Maricopa County through the Purpose Project.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I love using video in my marketing. I want to continue to build upon that to become one of the top Realtor video influencers. When I list a home I have a professional video produced which is target marketed to 10,000-20,000 buyers within the first 48 hours. I would love to produce more videos to help educate buyers and sellers on the real estate process and community.
