Meet Selene Hembree

Today we’d like to introduce you to Selene Hembree.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
While working full time as a financial advisor at a major financial institution, I graduated from GCU (Grand Canyon University) and double majored in Business Administration and Marketing, Finance & Economics.

For as much as I enjoyed financial education and helping others achieve their personal short and long term financial goals, I spent my spare time planning and attending weddings while always keeping up with the latest bridal trends.

That was just something that put both my heart and mind at ease.

After years of doing this, I decided to take a leap of faith towards something I daydreamed about all the time.

In 2015 I was searching for my own wedding dress and after discouraging and unpersonalized visits from boutique to boutique in the valley my vision for a fun, relaxed and intimate bridal experience became clear!

I knew I wanted to not only help brides find their dream bridal gown but cater to exactly what they’ve always dreamt of, a hassle-free and friendly atmosphere to enjoy with their favorite people while most importantly offering the latest modern styles.

So I did! Bride Studio came to life and I am now proudly celebrating one year of making gown dreams happen!

I love every second of the journey that led me here, the sweet brides I have met and the extraordinary memories my vision has created for brides in such special moments of their lives.

What do you think about conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
It is all about inspiring each other in the journey, our cities support of acknowledgement and recognition certainly goes a long way

We have a storefront in one of the biggest entertainment districts in Arizona: Westgate in Glendale, AZ. A sophisticated, intimate and private boutique
