Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott Prisco.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In my early 20’s after I was diagnosed with Anorexia, General Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression Disorder, and ADHD. I spent three months at the Eating Recover Center In Denver. Over the course of a couple of years, I tried all kinds of pharmaceutical prescription medications to take off the edge but did not like how they changed my personality and made me feel.

Upon doing vast amounts of research, I decided to go the alternative medicine route, giving CBD and other Non-THC cannabis formulations a try. I found they calmed me down, settled my anxiety, and helped me to focus.

Based on my success with cannabis therapy, I wanted to get into the business to help others fight their own debilitating afflictions. To better understand the body, nutrients, and overall wellness I took classes online to become a certified nutritionist. I linked up with a guy who was making water-soluble ingredients for world-renowned beverage companies. We took the proprietary nanomolecular encapsulation technology he was using and applied it to cannabis to create highly bioavailable products which increase the therapeutic benefits of the plant.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning your own business is full of obstacles and challenges, it’s part of the job. However, there is always a way! Sometimes you just need to pivot and approach it from a different angle!

Due to the regulations and uncertainty, the cannabis industry is definitely a lot more challenging to navigate than traditional consumer products.

Personally, we have faced alot of challenges marketing products, getting distribution, banking, accepting payments, and breaking the stigma around cannabis.
