Today we’d like to introduce you to Saulo Jimenez.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I started doing graffiti when I was 14 years old something about the Art just made me so unconditionally happy ide get so lost in art everywhere i went I looked for it everywhere also did my own throw ups. Seeing my graffiti in different parts of the city was such a prideful feeling, but I was simply out to get my graffiti name up as much as I could it wasn’t till I was like 17 that I relized I could do so much more with art. I draw for myself and simply hope others like it. I started to grow interest in wanting to be the best sounds cheesy but whether its a year from now or when I’m 75, I will be one of the best one days.
Please tell us about your art.
I like to draw characters, shapes and just colorful stuff I like bright colors I feel they bring a positive vibe. The message is whatever your imagination takes from the drawing if I were to give you my perspective of my Art it would be different from what you see to I rather not take that away and allow you to use your own imagination to make your own evaluation of the drawing. Be inspired – that’s what I’d like others to take away.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
I recommend you invest in your self I don’t have the funds myself to go to an art school, so teach yourself and instead of buying new things buy your self-art supplies invest that money in that dream inside of you.
