Meet Sarah Neumann

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Neumann.

Sarah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My passion for dermatology and skincare started in my teens when I battled severe acne that affected my self-esteem, I, therefore, wanted to gain the knowledge to help others never suffer as I did. I have now been a practicing dermatology physician assistant for the past 18 years. I started my career at a group practice in the valley that was successful but I felt as if the human connection had been lost, I, therefore, set out to create a practice where quality care with a personal touch was the focus every day. We strive with our Midwest values to provide a welcoming environment where honest attentive communication is the standard and our attention to detail and personalized care is our goal. Our team approaches every patient as an individual and not a number. With over 300 days of sun in Arizona, with a one in three risks of developing skin cancer, we knew Sun City was the place to open our 3rd location. We are excited to be here and look forward to helping the community.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning your own small business is never easy…of course, there are challenges with every opening but we are committed to the health and well being of the Sun City residents. Our flagship office Ahwatukee Skin & Laser has been in business since 2008 and we are proud to state we have won the best of Phoenix for the last six years consecutively.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are a full-service dermatology practice focusing on any condition of the skin hair and nails. We pride ourselves on diligent skin cancer surveillance and treatment including surgical and non-surgical options. We as well serve many teens in treating their acne and skin conditions. We offer traditional and alternative skincare regimens. We provide a patient-centered atmosphere with a friendly warm staff who is here to help.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
With any new business, there is so much that is unpredictable and out of our control but we believe in what we do and therefore we will work feverishly to succeed.
