Meet Sam Harfouch

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Sam Harfouch. Sam was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Jacob Nagle.

Sam, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
I’m an ASU graduate with a degree in Informatics Engineering, and paid for college through working in restaurants. I had met Jake through his wife Gabby, who was a friend of mine since high school, and we all worked together at Toro, a restaurant in the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. We had become great friends, and once Jake had started his business, he considered bringing me on as a handyman. I had accepted, and he became my mentor in many home improvement projects and skills. When I came on to the team I decided I’d try and expand our scope of work into more tech related things, and I’ve helped set up home wi-fi networks, troubleshoot devices, and set up new devices.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
As a company, we strive to provide the best customer service you could possibly find. Jake and I have brainstormed countless times how we can provide better service, and it shows in our ratings. When we do a job and make a mess, we clean up after ourselves. For example, when we mount TV’s, all the drywall that has crumbled, we vacuum up. When we remove holiday lighting and our clients don’t have anything to wrap the cords with, we provide Velcro ties so that the cords can be kept neat and don’t tangle. These are just a couple examples. We do market research to provide the fairest prices around, and we stay competitive with other services. We do our absolute best for every client, and if we are working on projects that are new to us, our policy is that if we do not complete the job in a satisfactory manner, we will redo it for free until it is. We plan on expanding into anything and everything home related in the future, and I plan on making a partnered business with Jake to All in One in custom furniture design. What I love about our work is that every day is a new day. The job is seldom mundane, and there are always new things to learn whether you’re working on older homes or new. Doing the work that we do for our clients has inspired me to update my home with newer appliances and furniture, and I train myself on new things through this manner.

Jacob Nagle and All In One Furniture Assembly have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Jacob Nagle and All In One Furniture Assembly and your experience with them.
Having worked in the restaurant industry for the better part of 9 years, my focus was on customer service, and all I could offer was an experience, good food, and good drinks. Occasionally I would get tables that I’d have long deep conversations with and that led to a more meaningful experience.

Now, as a handyman, I assemble and install furniture and devices that people use every day in their homes, and the impact is so much bigger. Being able to help to people to this extent is very fulfilling, and I’m happy to be able to provide this higher level of service as a part of All in One. It’s a joy to make connections with the clients I work for, and their reaction to the finished job is almost always priceless.

Working with Jake has been a wonderful experience. I have never had a boss before who not only holds themself accountable to the level that Jake does. If I ever make a mistake, I’m taught how to correct it for the future, not punished. I’ve learned more at this job than I have at any other, and it is an honor to be on this team. In my honest opinion, he and I provide the best service you can find, at the fairest price, and we do honest work. If we don’t believe we can do a job exactly how a client wants it done, we let them know that. We also send clients to the best professionals we know if we can’t do a specific job for them, so we don’t leave them empty handed.

With all this being said, I don’t believe I’ve found my calling in life yet. I have a degree in engineering that I would like to put to use. It is possible to create this as a part of All in One, and that is a huge consideration of mine. I’m happy to be where I am today for now, especially with this company.
