Meet Ryan Giolitto of Foley & Giolitto CPA in North Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Giolitto.

Foley & Giolitto CPA, PLLC was formed when Ryan P. Giolitto, a third generation CPA, decided that there was a better way for CPA firms to service their clients. Ryan, a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (consistently ranked as #1 accounting program in the U.S.) had several fortunate experiences to work for some of the best CPA firms in the Chicago area after graduating with a B.S. in Accounting and a M.S. in Taxation from Illinois. His experience includes tax consulting for some of the wealthiest individuals in Chicago along with tax planning and consulting for companies operating in all 50 states, as well as internationally.

In 2015, he met Charles B. Foley, CPA, a successful Scottsdale CPA with many years of experience that was offering outstanding customer service.

In early 2016, Foley & Giolitto CPA, PLLC was formed, and to this day carries out the outstanding customer service philosophy that Charles B. Foley instituted. Today, Foley & Giolitto CPA has moved beyond great customer service and now offers some of the most helpful and sophisticated tax planning in the marketplace. The firm’s goal is simple: to save their clients big dollars.

In the firm’s first 2 years, they were able to save their clients over $100,000 in income taxes. The firm looks forward to continuing this success as they approach their third year in business.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge has been and continues to be getting the word out about the great tax planning the company is performing. This type of planning is highly customized and very unique in the marketplace, but potential clients have to know about these services to take advantage of them.

Our specialty is working with business owners and investors to craft a custom, multi-year tax plan that generates significant permanent tax savings.

We are most proud of our unrelenting drive to help our customers save money, no matter how much time it takes, or how detailed we must get to develop the plan.

The firm is the first financial advisory firm to focus exclusively on saving its customers real dollars, utilizing a highly customized approach to tax planning. No one in the marketplace is doing this type of tax planning.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our biggest wins and most proud moments are also our client’s biggest successes. During our first year, we helped a new client of ours save over $20,000 in back taxes using our flagship complimentary tax review. We continue to offer a complimentary review of up to 3 years of past tax returns for any potential client to make sure we capture all available tax savings forward and backward for our customers.
