Meet Ronnie Dijon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie Dijon.

Ronnie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Honestly, I’ve been making music since I was 16 back in Forth Worth Texas, with an old friend of mines by the name of Randell. We made about five to six songs and remixed T-pain and Lil Wayne songs and played those songs to our peers in high school. That was the birth of my recording. Fast forward two years later I worked on my first Ep called initiating controversy by the name of Ron Casper lol ( trash). I always knew that music was my passion. It wasn’t planned but from the time frame, I’ve made a project every two years.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’ll have to say balance, it’s a challenge balancing my time as an artist and spending time with my family and friends. But it’s the process right? I’d also say money, it’s a business so I have to put constant money in to get a return back. But it’s a healthy challenge so I wouldn’t complain about it, it only makes the story greater.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I’m a creative, a true artist. I make music. Honestly, I’m proud of publishing my first book this year. It made me realized I can do anything thing !!! What sets me apart is not being afraid to try new things and talk about topics that artists are scared to touch I’m blind to my fears.

What were you like growing up?
I was a quiet child but my mind was constantly working. Thinking about plans thinking about life. I’m super super sarcastic and will troll until your annoyed. I’m a whore for basketball, chess, and reading books.
