Meet Robert Lee and Dominik Madril of FAM Clothing in Chandler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Lee and Dominik Madril.

Robert and Dominik, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Dom and I created FAM Clothing based on a bond built in the gym. We were both struggling with weight and healthier life choices. We decided to embark on a journey for a better lifestyle and soon created a brotherhood that would transition into a business idea. We sat for hours before and after our gym sessions discussing a clothing line that would relate to the masses. Dom always had the idea for FAM to be a clothing line but didn’t have a true meaning behind it until his love for the gym. We soon developed a meaning for FAM that would relate to many. Fitness, Ambition, and Motivation. We stand for something more than the gym. We want to inspire to do better in all aspects of life. Whether be in the gym, personal life, work ethic, etc.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Challenges are a dime a dozen when building a business. It’s not always rainbows and butterflies when trying to build a foundation from nothing. We encounter the daily challenge of building our fan base stronger and keeping them interested. We have to be innovated with our clothing to meet both gym wear and streetwear. The hot trends of clothing without being tacky. Finding wholesale companies that can meet our agenda while not compromising comfort. In order for us to make a name for ourselves, we have to stand out an that means being on top of our game which becomes difficult when we both work 60 hour work weeks, maintain going to the gym 5-6 days a week, finding time to network outside of social media and sustaining a personal life with our significant others and friends.

FAM Clothing – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Here at FAM, we pride ourselves on specializing in clothing line that appeals to the masses, both gym wear and streetwear. We create clothing that you can wear out to clubs on the weekends but feel comfortable working out in. Clothing that is durable in all your daily activities. One of our favorite slogans that is a crowd favorite is Sore Sleepy Starving. It relates to many aspects of life but yet so simple. As far as being proud as a company we are thrilled to have created something from nothing with no experience. To rise out of the mud and become trending brings us great joy.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
We would say our proudest moment as a company would have to be seeing our merchandise being worn in public settings. Watching our fan base post on their social media threads shouting us out rocking the FAM Clothing brand and spreading the love.
