Rene, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Spray AZ Painting Company was formed in 2021 with one goal in mind: Offer the Valley the best-in-class painting services around. A two-man operation with over 20 years of experience in the industry quickly grew as we recruited the most talented and experienced painters in Arizona.

From our very first client and close friend, Mike H., a community leader in Surprise, AZ we were trusted and given his business although we had no past referrals or reviews. We were inspired in knowing that the community is willing to give you a chance if you stand behind your word and put the customer’s needs first always.

The loyalty and trust of our clients have helped us build a strong reputation and even earned us a spot in the Top Painters in Surprise for 2022. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge we have faced as a new business is learning how to ride the ups & downs.

We experience strong months where we are super busy and things are great, then we’ll face slower seasons (i.e. during holidays) where our traffic slows down and we are forced to be creative in advertising and finding new leads. Ultimately the new ideas and collaborations that we create during these times end up helping us in the long run.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Adaptability – Things happen whether they are changes in market trends or a national crisis, although we will never be fully prepared we must learn to adapt to the changes around us.

We learned that while some businesses may be negatively impacted others may thrive if they are open to those changes. During this era when homeowners spent a lot of time at home, home improvements were in full gear. With our personable customer service and quick response times, we were able to capitalize on and help homeowners with their remodeling goals during these times.
