Meet Rebecca and Liz Rudd of The White Saguaro in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca and Liz Rudd.

Rebecca and Liz, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Weddings were always a passion of ours. We love the personal touches and unique moments that each wedding day creates. The White Saguaro was built after talking with many newly engaged women and learning that they were terrified to plan their wedding, and didn’t even know where to start. Using our wedding industry experience, we want to share what we know with brides but also create a way for the bride to do the planning (the fun part) on their own.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a process, for sure. Developing and perfecting a product & brand takes a lot of hard work, uncertainty, and risk. Another challenge for us was living in different states at the start of our business because it postponed many projects. Even though the struggles, we are proud of what we’ve designed, and the fun we’ve shared accomplishing our goals.

Please tell us about The White Saguaro.
The White Saguaro provides a resource, called the Bridal Blueprint, that guides brides in the wedding planning process & organize their ideas all in one place. It is designed for the creative and imaginative bride that doesn’t necessarily want the ordinary wedding. Our content allows for them to explore new paths and decisions without getting lost in the process. Our simple branding and product design provide a blank slate to express their own details. We are known for our collaboration over competition concept with other AZ creatives. We work hard to contribute to a positive community by fostering personal relationships.

Is there a quality or characteristic that has played an outsized role in your success?
Our creative relationships have helped us along the way, and our dedication to our brand and what we stand for allowed us to get this far.
