Meet Rebecca Hardcastle Wright, PhD of Gilbert

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Hardcastle Wright, PhD.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My childhood was filled with encounters with extraterrestrial, multidimensional, and spiritual beings, which were both fun and confusing, but they were familiar to me. I spent my childhood in the small town of Clarksburg, WV, and then moved to Dayton, Ohio. My contact grew more challenging as my psychic abilities developed without acknowledgement or support.

After high school, I attended Otterbein University, a small college in Ohio, where I studied philosophy and religion. I spent a year studying continental philosophy in Basel, Switzerland, and then attended Boston University School of Theology to pursue my master’s degree. I was ordained in the United Methodist Church and served as an interfaith chaplain at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

In the mid-90s, as an adult, I moved to Scottsdale and then Fountain Hills, where I joined one of the longest-running contactee groups in the nation, led by Dr. Ruth Hover. For the first time in my life, I was sharing my contact with adults who understood me. Dr. Ruth collaborated with Dr. John Mack at Harvard in a PEER organization founded to support contactees and offer them guidance. Much of my work today carries on the legacy of Dr. Ruth and Dr. Mack.

By 2005, I had spent a decade reading literature on ufology, the paranormal, and consciousness. I felt ready to take my knowledge into the world, so I submitted a curriculum, titled “Extraterrestrial Reality,” to Scottsdale Community College. My course was accepted, and the class was filled with students. It was one of the first Ufology classes in the nation. The class ran for a semester before being cancelled, but during that time, I was “downloaded” with the word “Exoconsciousness,” which became my life’s work. Today, Exoconsciousness is in five online dictionaries.

We define Exoconsciousness as the INNATE human ability to connect, communicate, and co-create with extraterrestrials, multidimensionals, and spiritual beings.

By 2008, I had completed my PhD in Parapsychic Science at the University of Holistic Theology and attended Southwest Institute for Healing Arts for my hypnotherapy and coaching certification. I also published my first book, Exoconsciousness: Your 21st Century Mind. While on a book tour, I received a phone call asking me to work with Dr. Edgar Mitchell, an Apollo 14 astronaut and advocate for Disclosure.

In 2011, I was asked to serve as the Washington, D.C. representative for Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s Quantrek organization, promoting zero-point energy, consciousness, and the extraterrestrial presence. I collaborated with Dr. Mitchell and his international team of scientists. During this time, I wrote How Exoconscious Humans Guide our Space Faring Future. A record of our reception by John Podesta, legal counsel in the Obama White House, was released, along with copies of my emails that were published by WikiLeaks in 2016.

Dr. Mitchell passed away, and in 2017, I returned to Phoenix to found the Institute for Exoconsciousness (IEXO), the first post-disclosure organization to support co-creation between natural humans and off-planet intelligences. To support this goal, we:
Seed and develop an innovative Exoconscious path through the present into the future.
We educate, train, and coach a community of co-creators.
We support experiencers who want to translate their contact into applications for health, peace, and the good of the planet.
We focus on discernment, critical thinking, emotional integration, and the protection, preservation, and advancement of natural human consciousness.

IEXO maintains that the planet’s most significant social problems, ranging from health to education to human rights, deserve the best creative solutions for consciousness advancement. IEXO invests in extraterrestrial and multidimensional entrepreneurs who utilize Exoconsciousness to accelerate social impact and develop technology, teaching, art, and healing to scale social impact toward an Exoconscious Civilization.

In 2020, I published Exoconscious Humans: Will Free Will Survive in an Increasingly Non Human World? which compared AI Transhumanism with Exoconscious Humans.

Today, we are an international community of contactees who are inventors, innovators, teachers, artists, healers, authors, channelers, psychics, remote viewers, and professionals in many fields. We gather in weekly and monthly coaching groups to share our experiences and knowledge. We support one another’s initiatives, which include consciousness technology inventions, skilled remote viewing, healing, and channelled contact with the Council of Eight.

We recently celebrated the first anniversary of the signing of the Exoconscious Planetary Constitution, a groundbreaking document that affirms humanity’s fundamental right to consciousness and recognizes our evolving interstellar identity. Signed on September 20, 2024, the Constitution serves as a foundation for peaceful, cooperative, and conscious interspecies relations. IEXO promotes conscious evolution, peaceful diplomacy, and public recognition of contact reality.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My primary struggle was maintaining my psychic intelligence and abilities in a culture that does not (yet) value their importance. As a child, it was especially challenging, as I often voiced my psychic knowing and was either rebuffed or ignored.

From childhood into college, I struggled with stammering. I would try to speak, but the words would not come out. I imagine that this stemmed from being silenced as a child.

After many years, I overcame stammering to become a teacher and public speaker.

I learned to value and acknowledge my voice and my intuition, regardless of how they are received.

Fortunately, today, consciousness and psychic abilities are part of mainstream knowledge and are more widely accepted.

Beginning in the mid-90s and continuing into 2007, I was a single mother raising three children alone. Making every decision and financially supporting myself and my children was a challenge. Despite these hurdles, I was able to focus on full-time work, earn my PhD and certifications, write a book, and teach one of the first Ufology courses in the nation. If my life had been easier, I wonder if I would have accomplished what I did…probably not.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As the Founder of the Institute for Exoconsciousness (IEXO), I derive great satisfaction and vitality from initiating projects, networking, gathering like-minded individuals, and creating content. These activities feed my life force.

Over the past years, my content creation has evolved from writing books and learning the ins and outs of the publishing world to learning new communication platforms. I have always been an avid reader and researcher, so writing comes easily for me. I love to delve into research to uncover patterns, shed light on truth, and create new ways of seeing and experiencing life. Seeing the Unseen is my favorite work.

I enjoyed marketing and published my first website in the early 1990s. When social media emerged, I launched profiles on every new platform and continue to post on all of them today.

When YouTube launched, I was fortunate to join with an expert producer, Dan Brock, who professionally showcases our interviews and offers creative suggestions. We continually create new content that invites people to learn about Exoconsciousness. I am a frequent guest on podcasts and YouTube as well as a conference speaker.

During the COVID pandemic, when academics and scientists left mainstream platforms to create Substack, I knew that my ideas belonged in that community of free thinkers and creatives. Posting Substacks that contextualize Exoconsciousness within current events and publishing our weekly Moving Forward Friday Substack brings me great satisfaction and joy in sharing information.

If a new creative platform emerges on the horizon, I will learn and utilize it to communicate.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
My life, by necessity, is an open book. So there are not many surprises. Bringing new ideas, such as Exoconsciousness, into the world requires authenticity, honesty, and transparency.

My husband and I have a blended family of eight children and many, many grandchildren. I LOVE being a mother, grandmother, and wife. It grounds me and wraps me in the goodness of life. I have a deep dedication to leaving a healthy and peaceful world for my grandchildren, which inspires my work.

I treasure my morning workouts–six days a week. My gym classes and workout community nourish and enliven me.

Every morning, I nourish my religious and spiritual life. It comes first.
