Today we’d like to introduce you to Prince Kanta.
Prince, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Prince Kanta, and I was born in Burundi. At the age of 11, my family made the courageous decision to move to the United States, seeking better opportunities. It was a challenging transition, but it ignited a passion within me for modeling. I was inspired by the diversity and creativity of fashion, and it became my driving force.
Despite facing obstacles along the way, including adapting to a new culture and language, I remained determined to pursue my dreams. Fashion became my outlet, helping me navigate through difficult times and boosting my confidence.
Through hard work, perseverance, and a strong belief in myself, I began to carve out a path in the modeling industry. With each step, I aimed to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and strive for success.
Today, I am grateful for the journey that has shaped me into the person I am. I continue to work diligently in the modeling industry, using my platform to motivate and empower my generation to pursue their passions and achieve their dreams.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it was hard and very challenging despite the fact that I’m African. Adjusting to a new country and culture was difficult, and I faced language barriers and discrimination along the way. As an African in the modeling industry, I encountered stereotypes and limited opportunities. Overcoming these obstacles required perseverance and a strong belief in myself
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work as a caregiver, and I’ve been in this field for about 3 years now. I find great fulfillment in providing support and assistance to those in need. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for caregiving and my commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. I take pride in the relationships I build with those under my care and the trust they place in me.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is when I won 800k for being the smartest kid at school back home in Africa. It was a moment of pride and accomplishment that I’ll always cherish.
