Meet Prince Carter of Global Line Media Group: The Agency

Hi Prince, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My goal in life is very simple… do what God has brought me here to do, and that is to build and create something that will live longer than myself using my talent and gifts. Way back when I was a little young thing in Maryland, I just remembered the undeniable work ethic that my parents and grandparents flexed. If you want something in life, you MUST work hard to obtain it. So, during my earlier years in life, I knew early on that I would have a future in the entertainment business, but I must admit I was so afraid because of how I was raised due to my religious beliefs at the time. I struggled and I struggled with trying to find my voice in this world because I knew that it was totally against my family’s wishes. Of course, I didn’t want to disappoint them, but I also wanted to be happy in life. I had to make a really tough decision, to either become complacent in life or follow my heart; I decided to go with the latter part. Despite the many setbacks and hardships faced, I was so determined that nothing would ever stop me from accomplishing my dreams of becoming one of the world’s greatest entertainers. From interviewing some of today’s hottest celebs, being tapped for one of the biggest reality shows on VH1 to creating a platform that encourages others to live their best life. All still amazes the little boy in me from Maryland.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey as been a very unique journey. I wouldn’t say I like to focus or harbor the disappointments or setbacks. I have learned to fully embrace the lessons as my blessings. Having faced homelessness, betrayal of friends, lack of support from family, constant hate from haters. It just all apart of the process. What I’ve come to know it’s important to enjoy and fall in love with the process. That is where you experience the best love for yourself. So as I continue on my journey, not focusing on the tough times but allow those moments to be a reminder that I am on the right path because anything that is worth having in life will be sure to include strengthening moments.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I have to give credit to where to credit is due, and the Black women of America really showed up and showed out during this Presidential election. Over 91% of Black voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Which, by far, was the most of any gender/race. “The most disrespected person in America is a black woman. The most unprotected person in America is a black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.”- Malcolm X in his 1962 speech in Los Angeles So I too challenged this narrative and said, “The celebrated person in America is the Black Woman.”
