Meet PrettyBoiKam PBK of Tempe

Today we’d like to introduce you to PrettyBoiKam PBK.

Hi PrettyBoiKam, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started making music around 2019 right when I moved out to Los Angeles and I started growing my fan base as I was out there when Covid happened. I moved back to Ohio and really worked on my sound around 2021 I started doing shows and had my first show with Ken Carson in LA and that jumpstarted me doing a bunch more shows for a bunch of big artists and doing tours for people like autumn and Chris Travis . 2023 I started my brand PrettyBitchesKiss and I sold all my merch out at Osamason and nettspend show and continue to grow my brand from there. Right now I am working with a label to grow my music and brand with the help of my co manager Jace Davey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a struggle to get a team together for all the content to roll out the right way like recaps of shows and finding the right people to play their role along with being able to help push the movement of the underground together but everything is coming together we have a great team out here in phoenix now.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an artist and own a brand called PrettyBitchesKiss and my artist name is PrettyBoiKam or PBK. I specialize in making music curated around my brand and specific drops with my music around my brand for the seasons. I am most known for my shows that I have done I’ve worked with Ken Carson, destroy lonely , autumn , Chris Travis , dom corelo , concrete boys , osamason , nettspend and I’m also known for giving lil Uzi vert a shirt from my brand and I’m proud that I was able to do all these shows off of my first performance with Ken Carson that put me in position to gain a fan base and help me start doing more shows which eventually led me to creating a brand for myself that I can use with my music as well. I think what sets me apart from others is that I’m very hands on and creative with my brand and music and I have created a vision for women and men that resonates with both

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
A lot of people in the underground scene like my friends like Jace Davey(phx), Cwill2wvy(Ohio), jay star(Houston), kill Kody(Ohio) , 16 yr old(Ohio) , j Laflair(Ohio), Chxpo(Ohio), yeahfreshie (Ohio), soberbior(Ohio), linodarockstar(Ohio), xuperp(Ohio), 4pints(Ohio),only1jose(Ohio), goldie1400(Ohio) and alot more who have helped me and supported me with either my sound or just my journey along with other people in the underground that are my friends. my manager @hersh.jd who has put me on all my shows has put me in perfect position to succeed and rooms that I would be able to shine in. Also along with Jace Davey bringing me out so I’m able to show face in Phoenix and putting me in rooms I wouldn’t know where to go to out here he has helped me a lot out here and we are working on collabs with music and the brand also linking me with dj goth to be able to be more connected to the music scene out here.
