Meet Phil Jackson and Gene Love of Amore Soccer in Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phil Jackson and Gene Love.

Amore soccer is an Arizona based soccer coaching company with a beautiful year round facility dedicated to inspiring and improving young soccer players to reach their fullest potential. With a focus on the technical aspect of the game, they use repetition in a small, personalized group environment to take your soccer player to the next level. They have all the equipment you could ever need to get better in all aspects of the game.

As soccer coaches, their goal is simple, they want to make you a better soccer player. They want to pass on their knowledge to all young and aspiring soccer players. The focus is completely on you and how they can help you move forward. Their specialized plans are customized to fit your position and ability, and they are designed to bring maximum improvement to your game. They offer a range of different options to help you improve and become more confident in the game you love.

1) One on one training
2) Small group training
3) Larger group training with more coaching

Both Gene and Phil used to be in the club Soccer scene but always had a passion to get out on their own. Amore Soccer is designed to meet your additional training needs working alongside your club schedule. Whether it is more private coaching or small groups. They will create specialized training plans that are position specific to your player. Also, they have a fitness expert on site ready to help with the physical side of the game with SAQ (speed agility quickness) Training.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Because so many kids are in the club scene and already practice at least 3 x per week, it is sometimes hard to match the right kids with small group training. Getting the word out there is going to be very important throughout 2018 as our Marketing will be ramped up a notch.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Amore Soccer – what should we know?
We are a coaching company based in Phoenix, AZ. We have three main options for you and will be there to coach and guide you through the entire process;

1) One-on-One private coaching

Our hour long sessions will get you where you want to be. We work with the whole range of positions and levels. Strikers who need to work on their finishing; defenders who need to work on their one-on-one defending or midfielders who need to work on their range of passing. If you have a passion for the game, we can coach the best out of you. Our drill are specifically designed for each individual player based on our knowledge and experience in the game along with feedback from those who know the player the best.

2) Small group sessions

We can work with groups between 2-10 for technical based sessions designed to help improve both the individual aspect of the game as well as team details. The main focus will be on getting plenty of touches on the soccer ball

3) In depth Player Analysis

This is our most detailed soccer training plan. It works like this, we come to watch a few of your games and write up a tailor made plan just for YOU. For more details click here.

4) The “Amore 6”

Our Amore 6 are full time at our fields. They are working through the fundamentals of all youth soccer throughout the entire year. They work Sunday-Thursday and are entering a lot of 3v3 tournaments throughout the year. This is a very specialized training option and should only be considered for those who are really serious about getting better. Working in a small group allows us to focus on each individual and get them the work they need. With the main focus on lots of touches and the technical aspect of the game. 5) #FOOTYFRIDAYS

Sometimes your soccer training week just isn’t enough. If you are looking for extra touches, then you have come to the right place. We focus on the technical aspect of the game and help maximize the potential of all young, aspiring soccer players.

6) Soccer Camps – In holidays, we run fun soccer camps for all players who love the game.

With our range of services, we will fit around your club schedule. We have no ties to any club just purely love the game and want to pass on the passion. Having been through the process of youth soccer, playing professionally in England, player in college in America and finally coaching the game. There is no better company to serve you and the soccer player in your life.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I grew up with the game in my blood. I was born in England and that’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve played and watched for as long as I can remember and I feel it gives me an edge. I have a good understanding of how the game should be played and how to teach it and get the best out of the kids.

Pricing:

  • One on One sessions – $60 per hour
  • Small Groups – 4-8 ($25 per kid)
  • #FootyFridays – $20 per kid.
