Meet Drs. Peggy Meents DeLay and Becky Meents Koepke

Today we’d like to introduce you to Drs. Peggy Meents DeLay and Becky Meents Koepke. They share their story with us below:

Dr. Peggy Meents DeLay and Dr. Becky Meents Koepke were raised on a 5th generation family farm in rural Nebraska. Their interest in healthcare was prompted by their father, who was diagnosed as a juvenile diabetic at age 10.

Chiropractic and acupuncture care along with an organic diet enabled him to maintain a quality lifestyle for more than 73 years.

In addition, their mother continually sought holistic and natural approaches to manage this condition. This influence intrigued the 2 sisters to seek a career in healthcare. Therefore, it is their goal to treat each patient as a member of their family.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the challenges we faced were starting our practice from the ground level.

We both moved to Phoenix from other locations, so we did not know anyone in our respective fields. It took many years to build our practice to what it is today. We certainly learned so many valuable lessons along the way and ways to improve.

Dr. Becky does a comprehensive spinal and extra-spinal adjustment. In addition, she integrates myofascial work along with postural stretches and exercises to provide a holistic methodology.

Dr. Peggy does full-body acupuncture treatments as well as facial rejuvenation treatments. She incorporates tuning forks along with energy work to enhance and amplify each treatment.

Our purpose is to provide individualized care utilizing a tandem approach to achieve healthier living through natural and holistic means.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
We feel the biggest risk we have taken was to start our businesses in fields that were not mainstream at the time.

Becky Koepke, Doctor of Chiropractic, is starting her 23rd year this year and Peggy Meents DeLay, Licensed Acupuncturist, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, New Mexico, is starting her 18th year.

Early on, it definitely was more about educating the benefits of chiropractic and acupuncture. Now, patients come in wanting specific care and we offer more additions such as tuning forks with your treatment, energy work, and Reiki.
