I started Beauty Blink in 2015 in Peoria, Arizona, focusing mainly on lash extensions. Our clients loved the service, which encouraged me to expand into permanent makeup and facial treatments. As we gained popularity, I partnered with Yelena to open a second location in Scottsdale. In just a year, the new location became successful, earning a five-star rating on Google and Yelp.
Our second location in Scottsdale has become a vibrant hub for beauty enthusiasts in just a year. We offer a wide range of services to cater to every client’s needs.

For lash extensions, we provide various styles and types, ensuring that everyone can find the perfect look to enhance their natural beauty. Whether clients want a dramatic volume, a classic look, or something in between we have them covered
In addition to lashes, we specialize in permanent makeup, offering services like microblading, brow shading, and lip blush. These treatments allow clients to wake up feeling beautiful every day without the hassle of traditional makeup.

One of our standout offerings at the Scottsdale location is the viral Japanese head spa, which features three unique experiences: the Signature Experience, Tranquility Experience, and Deluxe Experience. Each of these treatments is designed to provide relaxation and rejuvenation, combining scalp massages with nourishing hair treatments for a truly luxurious experience.

We also offer keratin lash lifts and brow lamination, giving clients the perfect, polished look they desire. With these services, we’re dedicated to helping everyone look and feel their best.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the initial struggles was establishing our brand and attracting clients in a competitive market. It took time to build a loyal customer base and gain recognition for our services. We worked hard to create a welcoming environment and provide exceptional service, which eventually helped us earn the trust of our clients.

Also staying updated in the fast-changing beauty industry has been a challenge. We make it a priority to invest in education and training for our team so they can learn the latest trends and techniques. While this can sometimes be tricky to manage, it’s essential for us to provide top-quality services.

For those just starting out in the beauty industry, my key advice would be to focus on building strong relationships with your clients. Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment can lead to loyal customers who will return and refer others.

Another important piece of advice is to never stop learning. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, so investing in your education and staying updated on trends and techniques is crucial. Attend workshops, take courses, and connect with other professionals in the field.

I also wish I had known the importance of having a solid business plan from the start. It helps to outline your goals, strategies, and financial projections, which can guide your decisions as you grow.
