Mechelle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Before we get started, I must shout out and thank the Voyage Media Community. I appreciate the opportunity to share and inspire. I am Mechelle Cherie Tucker a extraordinary wife and devoted mother of 3 better known in the business world as “The Networkers Networker” a passionate, dedicated, hardworking, creative who is a sought after businesswoman and global power networker. With more than a decade’s experience as a business consultant, widely respected in Phoenix for my talents due to the lack of leadership, information, resources and support in the valley I am hired to resolve critical issues knowledgeably and expeditiously. In 10 years I have become a valuable asset to entrepreneurs, industries, organizations, and businesses regardless of their niche. I harness a multitude of diverse skills to function in several aspects of business and a strong desire to touch people’s life positively. I have always been competitive and loved people, so being able to help people win in business allowed me to find my passion. In search of uniqueness, I continuously expand my knowledge base, keeping abreast with trends in the business world to remain relevant in various fields. I can also be defined by my hunger to motivate people and inspire change in their businesses. I’m most proud of the many entrepreneurs, I’ve had the opportunity to touch and share time with as a mentor. It’s a full circle moment whether it’s months or years later to see a random email or receive a unexpected call to simply thank me for doing what I do. I learned the power and art of having good connections and great relationships early to achieve success, So Networking is truly how I started and why I’m here today. I recently become the co-owner of a CBD/hemp business in Phoenix and has become the ‘go to’ person for embedding premium Cannabis/CBD brands into national events. I am a non-stop career professional and one of the hardest working women in the business world. Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I’ve experienced the bad, the horrible and the ugly. New and Small businesses will face a lot of different challenges. Some are harder than others to overcome. From the smallest to biggest of misunderstandings or miscommunications can and will happen. You’re challenges can turn into problems with money issues and can go either way when you don’t know when to delegate, when your believing rumors, over promising, under delivering, not keeping your word, having no paperwork, operating with hidden agendas, not conducting any background checks and having zero business plans are just a few of the bumps in the road that most young businesses experience that will make the journey not smooth at all.

In 2008 I established 1st Class Consultant, LLC., a consultancy firm dedicated to providing exceptional consultancy, creative pr/marketing, and management services that redefine a new wave of creating Win-Win-Wins in Business. Having worked across several facets of business in entertainment, finance, news media, sales and marketing I can recognize the need for change, seeking a more refined approach in an ever-evolving, globalized, and digitalized business world. 1st Class Consultant has hosted, organized, and managed hundreds of events in Tucson, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Litchfield Park, Glendale, Atlanta, Hollywood, Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Houston, San Antonio & Las Vegas with the presence of reputable personalities, influencers, news media and celebrities. I have been been featured on numerous radio shows and news publications to share my insight on philanthropy, business, social media, networking and current events. Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love best is: The Weather (no natural disasters), low cost of living, Entrepreneur driven and focused, it’s a melting pot for families, you can be a big fish in a small pond here and we are still growing and evolving as a major city.

What I least like is: The Heat & No Beaches
