Meet Nycki Schroeder of Fempire Marketing & Business Solutions in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nycki Schroeder.

Nycki, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It hasn’t been a long journey BUT it’s crazy how different my month to month looks! About a year ago I was doing an assistant job where my tasks all the typical things you would expect- emailing, answering phone, sorting paperwork, running errands except for one small part was trying to create sales or gain leads through facebook or her instagram and that clicked. I loved every single part about it. I have a hefty background in cold-calls sales and instantly fell in love with the mouse chase that happened ALL ONLINE. What words to say, what not to say, what fonts converted better than others, what email titles did for her sales that month, how to track what makes someone actually open an email vs pay for something in an email. All these little things that you don’t do in a call center…. SO I decided I was going to see if I could take that same success and repeat it for someone else, but this time no emailing or answering phone JUST the social media marketing and I have never looked back since!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No way, it has been such a roller coaster but not in the way that you may think. I have only worked 9-5 jobs, I am use to the in the box school formula thinking patterned, and when you work for yourself there are no rules. There is no clocking out and in. There is no one to say “No ma’am” we don’t offer a 75% off coupon… And then the money aspect of it all is figuring out what you are worth. When you get into an entrepreneurial world your time no longer becomes worth 10$ an hour. If I quoted someone 200$ for 20 hours of work on a project they categorize me as too new and not an authority. But if I charge someone 500$ for half that time, they are excited and jump on the phone every time!!! It is actually crazy! There is so much to learn about the algorithms, keeping up with the newest laws, having the best website, knowing which funnels are the most popular right now, researching Facebook ad campaigns, knowing the top 100 hashtags at all times, like all these learning opportunities that one year ago I barely knew about!

Lastly, there is a fear factor that comes into play of working for yourself. It was terrifying for me to tell my fiance, my friends, and my family that I am leaving my law school track to make money…. “playing on Facebook”. Right, because if you aren’t in the digital marketing world that’s what you hear.

So I am in the world of marketing but my branding, my mission and my vision for my company is so much more. When I am working with a new client and she gets her first sales off of her new email list, we are celebrating HER SUCCESS. She gets to stay home longer with her kids, or work toward she goals of financial freedom. Creating a company that supports and helps other people to make money is so rewarding!! Fempire when you break it does is “female-empire” because I am a female creating a network of wealth around me. A lot of people think I only help women, and majority of my clients actually are mom bosses, but when you have a well thought out Facebook ad funnel it doesn’t matter what type of business you are, ee can help! I am set apart from others in my network because my goal is to support your visions, your dreams and your goals as a company. I want to help you create your empire no matter what that looks like. If you are a mom who wants to work 20 hours a week make good money and spend the rest of your time with your kids we have packages to help you. So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Courses…courses…courses! I can’t wait to pour everything out of my head and offer it to my tribe! I envision workbooks or maybe in a  large video chat training.
