Meet Nikki Lessard of Stay Blessed Barber & Beauty in Metro Phoenix Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Lessard.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nikki. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve been in the beauty industry about ten years now. I’ve had the pleasure of doing hair, makeup, and lashes for various photo shoots, weddings, video shoots, fitness competitions, etc. The ability to make someone feel beautiful, confident and truly the best version of themselves and to share so many special occasions and events in people’s lives has been a truly rewarding experience for me. The relationships I’ve had the pleasure of building with my clients is a constant reminder why I love this job.

Last year I started a small business ELOQNT Studio with my best friend Nikki Robles which was something we had been talking about for some time. She is a barber & I am a cosmetologist. Since opening ELOQNT we have continued to push our dream to new heights gaining new clientele, building a solid team and making a name for ourselves. In under a year we have exceeded our expectations and we are pleased to announce we will be opening a storefront location in October 2019 called Stay Blessed Barber & Beauty. We are so fortunate for our family, friends and loyal clients. For them to believe in us and support us along the way as they have, Stay Blessed was only fitting for the name of our new venture. We truly are blessed.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a learning experience most definitely. This industry is constantly changing and evolving. You never stop learning and that is exciting. Being able to push your artistry to new heights and challenge yourself on a daily basis… that’s what keeps the creativity alive.

Building a business has its challenges and takes a lot of hard work but believing in yourself and having solid people around you that not only share a common goal but also believe in you as well definitely makes it easier and worthwhile.

Hard work, determination and perseverance pays off.

Makeup Artistry was my first love and continues to be my passion. I also do Lash Extensions, hair, waxing, brow tinting, etc.

Some other services provided in the shop include brow threading, Ombré brow shading, facials, lash lift & tint, and we have full-service barbers.

I’m most proud of the family vibe we all share in the shop. There’s never a dull moment. We love each other and support each other entirely. Just good energy all around.

We are also female owned & operated.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Simply put, Phoenix is home. 💙 However, the heat is something else! Lol
