Meet Nicole Rideau of The Zen Center in Central

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Rideau.

Nicole, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Well… I am going to lay this out in bullet points because it could get looooooong and I’d much rather fill in the details in person!
•I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 13 years.
•Had Cancer twice.
•A passion for healing.
•Been a Pshychic/Medium my whole life but facilitating for others about 6/7 years now.
•Co-Founded a Transformational Travel retreat company with my Friend in which we lead groups to Bali!
•and FINALLY collected all the moving parts 12/18 to open the doors of The Zen Center., a Wellness Center focused on holistic healing through alternative arts. We hold intention to create a community of healers stimulating the growth and guidance of consciousness.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well, I don’t believe in obstacles so much as opportunities for growth. But to name a few… Cancer. Young motherhood. Old Belief Systems. Financial stress. Health. Surgeries. Haters. Just to name a few😉. But it was all perfect, ya know? I see that now. It was all building, shaping me into the best version of myself I could be for others.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Zen Center – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We provide multiple healing and coaching techniques such as Readings, Bodywork, Yoga, Energy Healing, Sound Healing, Crystal Healing. We specialize in collaboration with each other and our clients. It’s not a typical silent massage. We don’t just work the body, we speak to what is causing the body discomfort, we feel with our hands and our hearts. We do active readings through bodywork and classic readings through oracle cards and mediumship. What sets us apart? The fact that I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing! And I don’t pretend to. Ya, you read that right… I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing! That statement alone (which I open every reading with). sets me apart. I am just here, living into my dreams, helping who I can, how I can and it seems to be working!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like best… the weather! The culture! The space! The people! Pretty much everything. I am an AZ Native and a true desert baby.

What I like least… hmm… I’m not sure how to answer that. If I had to say something it’d have to be the disregard for our homeless. It’s disheartening.
