Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Kobrinsky.
Nicole, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my real estate business eight years ago. My focus in the early years was purchasing, remodeling, and then renting properties out. It then turned into helping people smoothly relocate to Arizona. I have found fun in not just helping someone find the right house or the right neighborhood, but also discovering the best restaurants, shopping, parks, galleries, and events.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Growing my business and growing a family at the same time was challenging. I had to come to terms with the fact that I cannot have everything, at least not all at one time anyway. There have been days where if I felt like I was really succeeding in business, I then felt guilty for not being a good enough mother to my two daughters. I had to let go of that guilt and recognize that there is no such thing as balance, it’s more like harmonization of work and personal. I believe that if you work hard enough for long enough, you will always succeed, whether as a parent, partner, or business owner.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am known for my attention to detail and my drive to get the best possible outcome from every situation. Refining the art of presenting a listing or even myself as an agent, is extremely important, especially in the luxury real estate market. I am also very systematic and enjoy simplifying the buying or selling process by eliminating the unnecessary so that the focus remains on only what is necessary.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My favorite cheerleaders are other local business owners. I parter with some of the most exceptional businesses in Phoenix metro and find joy in connecting my clients or friends with these great businesses. Real estate is really just about making valuable connections. You can’t achieve greatness without the help of others.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Shortly after getting my real estate license, the large company that I previously worked at for nine years in marketing announced one of their headquarters was expanding in Tempe, Arizona. I was well-positioned to assist with moving hundreds of employees here. I learned a lot from early on in my business.
