Meet Natalia Krzyzanowski of NK Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Krzyzanowski.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have been working in the medical field for 12 years now.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in science. I grew up watching all the different medical shows, intrigued by surgery and all the different diseases and pathologies of humans and animals. I just knew I belonged in healthcare. I studied Biology at UMass Amherst for my undergraduate degree, then got my accelerated Nursing degree from MCPHS in Worcester, Massachusetts.

I worked for a year as an RN when I got accepted to the Master’s Program at UMass Medical. I graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2017. I became very interested in Plastic Surgery after binge-watching Botched and made sure I had a rotation in Plastic Surgery during my Master’s Program. During this time, I started to notice things I did not like about my own features, mainly being my deep etched wrinkles from laying out in the sun too much in the summers. I did some research on Botox and I gave it a shot.

It literally changed my life! The deep lines that aged me in my early 20s were gone! It really amazed me how such a quick, non-invasive procedure could improve my own confidence. Once I graduated and moved to Arizona. I have been working as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, paying off my student loans along the way. I ended up taking a Botox & FIller course, and the rest was history. I took continuing education courses and seminars and increased my Aesthetics knowledge base.

This past year in 2021, I was able to open my practice in North Scottsdale, offering Medical Aesthetic treatments, including Botox, Fillers, Microneedling, and Chemical peels. I absolutely love what I do. Being able to help build or restore someone’s confidence sparks so much joy. I am so grateful that I have positive impact on people’s lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely been bumpy!! I took the longer educational route, as I was unsure exactly where or what I wanted to be.

So that of course cost more money and took longer to complete. But in the end, it all worked out. When I graduated from NP school, I applied to Dermatology and Plastic Surgery offices, but they all wanted someone with experience, being a new grad, I had none!

Even when I had my Botox and Filler course completed, Med Spas were also hesitant to hire me due to my lack of experience. All of these things lead me to open up my own clinic!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started NK Aesthetics in 2018. I was injecting part-time as a mobile provider while working full-time as a Wound Care NP. In August 2021, I opened up my clinic in North Scottsdale. I share this office space with a friend who is a Chiropractor, Dr. Nelli Kaplunskaya at Kinnect Chiropractic.

I specialize in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, microneedling, and chemical peels. I like to take a more conservative, natural approach to aesthetics. I believe in enhancing and balancing features, rather than changing someone’s appearance. Patient safety and outcomes are my biggest priority, I would never recommend a treatment someone does not need.

I am very patient and calm, I always ensure my patient feels comfortable with their treatment plan. I love working with other businesses in the community, working synergistically together for the greater common good & well-being of my patients.

I am pretty active on my Instagram @NataliaK_NP. There you can find lots of before & afters, educational posts, and some pretty amazing specials!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I absolutely LOVE the weather, the desert-scape, and the palm trees. I am from Massachusetts, so I used to live on a sunny days. Now, it’s sunny every day, which makes me happy – every day!

The weather definitely plays into our well-being. It’s great being able to do outdoor activities every day (maybe not in the middle of the summer!). I love the weekly farmer’s markets, community events, and car shows.

There’s not a lot that I do not like. I wish there was a beach close by!
