Meet Morgan Murdza of AZ Brow Guru LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Murdza.

Hi Morgan , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m Morgan Murdza, a 20-year-old entrepreneur and the driving force behind AZ Brow Guru LLC. Since launching my venture as an 18 year old in April 2023, I’ve been on an exciting journey in the beauty industry. I’m not just passionate about what I do; I’m also dedicated to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others.

My business initially took root in Old Town Scottsdale, but I’ve since found my true home in the Gilbert area since May 2024. While I’m grateful for my beginnings in Scottsdale, the Gilbert community resonates more with me on a personal level as this is where I grew up and where my friends and family are.

With my company, my primary focus is on enhancing facial aesthetics, particularly through brow transformations. Brows are my canvas, and bringing joy to my clients through them brings me immense fulfillment. Additionally, I’m deeply invested in what I do. Beyond brows, I offer a range of services including lash lifts, waxing, and teeth whitening. I’m excited to announce that soon I will be offering nano-blading as I’m currently furthering my education and eventually my service menu!

I’ve had a whirlwind of emotions throughout this entire journey. While growing my business, I’ve had to figure out who I am as a person which in turn helped me build my brand a lot. I’ve realized the type of people that I work around and the quality of peers I’m surrounded by and the importance of connecting with them. I’ve had to remind myself several times why I do what I do and keep my head up to go into work every day. Some days do get really hard, especially because there’s so many different factors that weigh into being a small business owner. At the end of the day, I started this for a reason and I’m truly passionate and in love with what I do.

One of my favorite things about what I do is the connection with my clients. I truly value the relationship that I have with them and that is the best part of this entire experience. When a client comes in and lays on my table they know that they are safe there and they can talk to me and confide in me. A lot of my clients have turned into my friends rather than my friends turned into my clients and I’m honestly okay with that.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a bumpy road but one I would take over and over again. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and Im out through challenges to make me stronger.

I actually have had a huge issue with finding the right location for me. As said previously, I started my business in Old Town Scottsdale – well I had to move to Mesa because of personal issues with my landlord. I moved from Mesa due to the environment not being what I wanted for my business. After that I moved to downtown Gilbert where my landlord terminated my lease because they refused to fix the air conditioning and went out of business. NOW I’m in my current studio at The Collab in Gilbert and I absolutely love it here and have hopefully found my forever home. The environment, people and location is exactly what I was looking for.

Going through 4 locations in 2 years took a toll on my thought process of my business plan. I never imagined that would happen to me but I’m grateful it did because I learned something new every single time.

This is a one woman show all done by me, Morgan Murdza. I specialize in brows, but like I said earlier I offer a couple other services as well. I’m known for my natural approach to brow laminations and transformations. I like to think I’m also known for my young approach to the beauty world as well. I not only offer services but I have my own product, the brow serum & I also do services and sell my serums at vendor markets 😉
