Meet Moe Kittaneh of Herbal Dynamics Beauty in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moe Kittaneh.

Moe, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been interested in entrepreneurship and interested in wellness, so getting in to skincare was kind of a natural evolution for me. My first business venture was a salon, which built on my existing interest in skincare and introduced me to the personal care industry.

Following that, I co-founded the company that became Amerisleep, one of the biggest online mattress brands. Throughout our launch and growth, wellness and health drove the brand and I also learned ecommerce and enjoyed working directly with customers and building a community around the company.

With Herbal Dynamics Beauty, I sought to translate my passion for wellness and skincare into a brand designed to deliver that message, and starting online was a natural way for me to get in to that. We built a strong, motivated team and have been seeing rapid growth thanks not only to our high-quality products but also our engaged customer base and social media channels.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say so. I applied much of what I learned launching Amerisleep and other businesses, in terms of building an easy-to-navigate website and maintaining transparency with products. We positioned ourselves as a provider of useful skincare information on both our blog and social media which helped build a connection. And, the company has always focused on customer service and delivering great products people want to use and tell others about.

We’ve seen consistent growth thanks to our community-based marketing approach focusing on real people and the products from the beginning — no flashy marketing or big influencer campaigns like most do. It takes time and a lot of effort to do this, but our approach has created a steadily growing, highly engaged customer base.
