Meet Mindy Perfette of North&Co. Real Estate in Arcadia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mindy Perfette.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Mindy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have been in the resale residential world now for going on four years. In these short (yet long) four years I’ve been honored to help over 75 families purchase or sell real estate. I have a podcast called “Made For Greatness” on iTunes, it’s been a way for me to express the true meaning behind why I do real estate and it is the human to human connection. I’m a Mother to three beautiful boys (ages 5,3,1). My amazingly supportive husband Kyle is a full-time Phoenix Firefighter and is also a licensed agent. Prior to doing real estate, I owned a salon bouquet and did hair for nine years until I got Bell’s palsy after having our second son. This is what took me on the path for real estate.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Smooth like organic chunky peanut butter 😂 (haha). No, it was not a smooth path for me personally to get to where I’m at today. I struggled on the test, lost my aunt a few months prior to having our second son and then to top it off I got Bell’s palsy while delivering him which lead to me having to find a whole new career path. My marriage was struggling and we had spent well over budget for me to get this license because I had to take it six times and you have to pay every time you fail. Needless to say, this was a turning point for my personal growth and mindset. I knew there was a purpose for these struggles and that I had to make the most of my career.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I would say the most complement I hear often from clients and work industry partners is my authenticity shines in every conversation. That my aura is bright and people are attracted to the humanness I give off as a realtor (which is not a common thing for us rare species). I help people find their perfect home by first finding out their lifestyle and places that matter the most to them. If that’s schools, restaurants, bars or being close to all the happening stuff, we try to narrow those specifics down which in turn will help me understand my clients must-haves and locations.

What do you love about our city and what do you dislike?
Let’s start with the least, it’s hot, like hella hot as we like to say in NorCal. I grew up in Northern California and have been here in Arizona now for 15 years.

What I love most about Arizona is the cost of living and the number of activities to do here are endless (unless it’s 102, then we just freeze inside 😂).
