Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Moore.
Hi Michelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started a charity called Mother’s Grace in 2009. We support moms and children going through acute life tragedies. Along the way, I have met Mothers all over the world who have experienced the most horrific life trials and have come through the other side to take that experience to their own communities and give back. In 2019 I had a book about these experienced published by Simon/Schuster. The Books is called “a mother’s grace, healing the world one woman at a time.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has been blessed with a huge support of other moms that wanted to be a part of our mission, they help in very unique ways. Our board consists of professional women who bring their skills and gifts to other moms in need. The beauty of this organization is that there is so much “pay it forward” involved. Many of the moms we help come back and volunteer for others.
As you know, we’re big fans of M3 Consulting. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
After 27 years as and SVP for the largest diagnostic company in the world, I decided to take my business development skills to a consulting platform. I am now consulting for companies that wish to take a business strategy from point A to B, or ready their companies for acquisition. In addition, I help women launch business ideas and their own 501c3 organizations. In terms of what differentiates my skill set it is pure experience and long successful track record of achieving strong YOY budget growth. I am most proud of my ability to get companies thriving but also carve out a brand for themselves that can achieve some of the philanthropic goals as well.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
In a word, Gratitude. I had Covid early in the game, one of the first diagnosed in my community. I struggled a lot with the illness. I saw the impact, short term and long term on many. It really helped me and our charity to be able to support thousands in our communities far and wide with others struggling.
