Meet Michele Quintana

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Quintana. 

Hi Michele, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I have been in healthcare since I graduated High School in 1984. I have worked side by side with Surgeons from all specialties. I came to Arizona with my husband to help set up an Orthopedic practice and Surgicenter in Flagstaff, Az I have always had a deep interest in helping people and falling in love with Surgical Assisting. I became a client of Sally Hayes owner of Sally Hayes Permanent Makeup for Brow correction. She then happened to lease space out of the plastic surgeon’s office in which I worked in. After two years of watching and listening as I saw the magic that Sally did with some of her clients. I was always amazed at how she could help them and then I was hooked. Two years later and I am now the proud owner of Michele Q Permanent makeup formally known as Sally Hayes Permanent makeup. My commitment is to provide my clients with the safest, easiest, and most artistic permanent makeup application with the most natural results. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Actually, no hitches, Sally paved the road and made sure in my extensive training that she set me up for success.!!! Having really big shoes to fill from the 34 years of Sally Hayes paving the way in the industry. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a makeup artist specializing in permanent tattoo, so your makeup will never smudge, sweat or rub off. you will have a clean classic look at all times. A client may enhance their makeup any time they want by adding any different color to their lips or eyeliner. I will harmonize and balance their face with tattoo Brows, Eyeliner, and Lip color. I am also trained in scar camouflage/areolas post-mastectomy. 

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Growing up at the beach in Southern California
