Today we’d like to introduce you to MeMe Mathis.

MeMe, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Four years ago, I decided I would dedicate my life to doing the one thing that I actually LOVED to do. That’s was working with Animals. I attended and graduated from Carrington College in 2015. However, every time I went to an interview no one would give me a shot. So, I held my chin high and decided I would start my own business!

I knew I loved animals, but dogs have always been my passion. I then had my dog-son oreo, and still do he is 10 years young, lol, Shitzu-Poodle. I had noticed when taking him to get groomed he would come back acting differently. A light bulb came on…

Then, I find out I am three months pregnant!

So, I started grooming… my family members dogs, friends, and neighbors out of my home in the west valley at the time. I practiced, made some mistakes, and practice some more.

Researched about opening up a mobile grooming business. But I knew I didn’t want just Mobile. In-Home grooming. I wanted it to be a more personal experience not only for the pets but for the family as well

Let me say! That was the best decision I have ever made in my 29 years of living.

Has it been a smooth road?
I definitely have overcome so many challenges over the past year. From car troubles, being a mother & wife. It’s more of finding a balance though. However, I am grateful for every lesson I have learned and will continue to learn as my business grows.

“The Fur Whisperer” I specialize in the Unwanted Dogs” from your puppies, so he/she got kicked out of this place, lol.

I am a dog groomer, pet sitter and dog walker.

My goal is to ensure that your fur baby looks as good as they feel. I want your pet to feel special and that the care provided meets not just their owners need but theirs. I treat each client with the utmost respect.

I am proud of my brand because of the hard work that I have put in to make it become what it has become. I take joy in committing my time back to the community and helping rescue animals that need some special attention.

What set me apart from others is that I am dedicated to giving my clients the best experience and attention they can ever need. Patience, professionalism, and pawfection each time they see me. I greet them with a smile and end with a smile for I know the energy you put out is what you receive in return.
