Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Brown.

Melissa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my agency with a suggestion from a friend.

As a new business owner, my friend Chrissy at @FitCrew_Az was having trouble consistently showing up for her new and potential clients on social media. She asked me for help and after a period of steady growth, she encouraged me to start my own business and help other entrepreneurs.

Copper Sky Social Media was formed to help entrepreneurs, like Chrissy, have a consistent social media presence while growing and engaging with their followers on Facebook and Instagram. With my background in luxury retail and hospitality, I understand the importance of excellent customer service, and I strive to provide the same level of service to my clients and their followers.

Currently, we serve about a dozen clients in a variety of fields throughout Arizona and Southern California.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but having mentors that have been through the same challenging situations has been a great help. I feel like we’ve had the same struggles as any new business, such as setting up systems and acquiring new clients. Being able to reach out to other entrepreneurs has made the road less bumpy.

Copper Sky Social Media is a boutique social media agency that specializes in organic growth, content creation, and follower engagement on Facebook and Instagram.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over again, I definitely would have started Copper Sky a lot earlier and not waited for the perfect moment because the perfect moment doesn’t exist. You can’t know everything and the fastest way to learn is to jump in before you’re ready.
