Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Agazzi.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Who the heck am I? Excellent question, folks….I’ll let you know when I find out. Turns out this life thing is a work in progress, but I’ll fill you in on what I’ve got so far.
I was ever the good girl, grew up in AZ and graduated from Phoenix Christian High School, went to college and earned not just one but two degrees in Education (see, dad, I’m smart!). I married my high school sweetheart, I volunteered, had an excellent career and a few babies, kept my house clean and made cinnamon rolls from scratch. See. Such a good girl.
Alas, as life tends to do, things took a bit of a turn- my marriage fell apart and my codependent self had to go to all sorts of therapy and learn the hard way what it meant to be a grown up (apparently stomping your feet and demanding things stop being hard isn’t a thing- who knew?). Despite the struggles, I had three beautiful babies to love on and a wonderful career in education that filled me up. I loved and adored my students, especially the hard ones, they’re my people. To this day, I treasure my time spent in the classroom and the relationships I built. It challenged me and grew me as a human, woman, mother, leader. But at a certain point, I wanted and needed something more and I decided to jump into the wide world of real estate.
I went on a mission to learn everything I could from the most successful people I could find…I hung my license with My Home Group, a brokerage filled with leaders who are smarter and more successful than me and willing to share their experience at each turn (jackpot!). And then, I jumped in…turns out real estate is really stinking hard. You have to consistently put your ego in check and focus on solving whatever problems are placed in front of you. What surprised me was that even in the hard growing phase, I loved what I was doing- I don’t even mind the fact that I no longer get summer’s off…I know, weird, right? Every transaction is a bit of a circus and I’m the ringmaster wearing all the hats: hunter, negotiator, tech-extraordinaire, entertainer, psychologist, teacher, friend, bartender, door-opener, number cruncher, salesperson, trusted guide, All. The. Things. Sitting at the closing table feels a little like a final act performed perfectly, exhilarating and fulfilling.
I’m continuing to grow my business as an independent agent, with a dream of one day creating a team that grows women as leaders, agents and humans incorporating my passions to genuinely serve people and make the world a better place.
Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth? HA! Nope.
The biggest struggle is putting in the work, showing up day in and day out, working really stinking hard and then being patient with the process. There is a lag between focused efforts and success, staying positive and forward focused during that lag time can be excruciating, mental toughness is absolutely everything.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a Concierge Agent, I pride myself on offering multiple solutions tailored to the individual client. Whether you’re relocating, buying, selling or investing, I have a package and flexible commissions that will suit your needs.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What’s not to love about Phoenix? Ok, maybe the zillion degree summers, but we are less than 2 hours from the pines and 4 hours from the beach, so even that’s not so bad. Phoenix has the best hiking, an international airport, cool music and culinary scenes and fabulous winters. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
