Meet Megan Jore of IV Revival

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Jore.

Megan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2016, I joined IV Revival, one of the valley’s first mobile IV hydration providers. I was one of the original RN’s with the company, traveling around the valley delivering IV hydration and vitamins to those in need of it. As life became busier, I had to step away from IV Revival but always loved the concept of the company, the company’s culture and the relationships I was able to make with the patients I provided treatments to.

In April 2019, the original founders of IV Revival, Carey Catania, CRNA and Antonio Moore, CRNA approached my husband and I to see if we would be interested in taking ownership of the company with the goal of catapulting it to the next level. Before joining IV Revival in 2016, my husband, Lincoln Jore, and I had been able to successfully build and sell companies so it seemed a natural fit with our business and my medical background and love for the company to want to be a part of it again.

Has it been a smooth road?
I would say the biggest struggle was keeping the morale of the company up. The transition of ownership happened fast and with it being a mobile business, I had not had the opportunity to meet any of the nurses or phone coordinators before taking over. I know there were some feelings of uncertainty that they would no longer have jobs and concerns that I was going to be a mean, stuffy, only looking to make a profit business person. I was lucky to inherit a great team and the only changes to personnel I have had to make is increasing our number of team members.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the IV Revival story. Tell us more about the business.
IV Revival is a mobile IV hydration provider that services the entire valley. We are a team of 16 nurses (and growing) that come to you and administer custom IV treatments based on your needs (dehydration, cold/flu relief or prevention, nausea, the list goes on and on). We also offer IM injections of B12, anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory. As to what sets us apart from others: the quality of both our staff and our products. IV Revival was founded by 2 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and our mobile team is comprised solely of experienced Registered Nurses. We strive to provide a great client experience from the first contact our clients have with our helpful and dedicated phone coordinators to the end of the appointment where we do our best to leave the client feeling relaxed, revived and refreshed.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I believe that as health care and insurance costs continue to rise and apps that deliver everything from clothes to food to your doorstep become the norm, the industry for businesses that focus on delivering wellness to your door will continue to grow.
