Meet Maura Kirby of Grace Labyrinth Wellness Center in Ahwatukee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maura Kirby.

Maura, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I recently read a quote by Brené Brown which said, “Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

And this is where my story of becoming an Angel Intuitive and Reiki Master begins, within the darkness…

After years of struggling with infertility and unsuccessful rounds of IVF, I felt as if I was completely broken and did not want to face my reflection in the mirror. It was too painful to witness the emptiness inside my being. Yet, when my husband and I found out that our last IVF treatment was successful in 2011, I was so happy and overjoyed. We were also surprised and excited that I had conceived identical twin boys. However, during my sixteenth week of pregnancy, I experienced a miscarriage of both of my sons. And due to a hemorrhage after delivery, I had a very close brush with death which resulted in a near-death experience. What I did not know at the time was that even though this experience was traumatic, it would change my life in the most miraculous ways.

After processing this trauma, as well as unaddressed feelings from infertility, I finally discovered my true self who was whole and complete. And from this healing, I opened up to just how much my near-death experience was helping me connect with the other side of the spiritual veil. I began connecting with my identical sons in Spirit and could feel their love. I knew that they had been guiding me all along and were helping me on my path. And with the love of my sons and support of my husband, I had the courage to leave the financial world and enroll at SWIHA (Southwest Institute of Healing Arts) in Tempe, AZ for the Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner Diploma (Spiritual Coaching and Hypnotherapy specialization) as well as the Intuitive Angel Guide Program and the Reiki Master Program. I received my diploma and certificates in December 2017.

My connection with the Spiritual Realm evolved through my studies and I felt confident and ready to serve others through my training and innate gifts. I established my company, Grace Labyrinth Wellness Center, in May 2018 and moved into my beautiful wellness center in Ahwatukee, AZ in January 2019. I love that I can now serve others as an Angel Intuitive and Reiki Master.

And as I look back on my story, I can now see that the darkness I experienced was a pathway for me to see the light within myself, within others, and also the Light that connects this world to Spirit.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Once I moved into my wellness center in Ahwatukee, I was surprised that I initially feared openly expressing to the public my role as an Angel Intuitive with my Reiki work and spiritual coaching. To openly say that I connect with the Angelic Light Realm, and specifically the Archangels of Light, was difficult for a short bit of time. As new and returning clients received Reiki with intuitive messages, intuitive readings, Angel card readings, and past life readings from me, I gained confidence in my connection with the Angels of Light. I witnessed deep healing, comfort, peace, and Divine guidance firsthand from my clients. And I knew that I was doing work that honored each client’s highest good through an authentic connection with the Angelic Light Realm. I truly feel blessed in what I do and feel confident to voice my role as an Angel Intuitive.

Grace Labyrinth Wellness Center – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
As an Angel Intuitive and Reiki Master, I provide services which include Reiki with intuitive messages, intuitive readings, Angel card readings, Angel workshops, past life card readings, and space clearing and blessing. What I am most proud of is that I honor each client and ensure that each session honors the client’s highest good. Instead of offering predictions and talking at clients during sessions, the sessions are very interactive in which clients play a key role in their healing and guidance. I serve as a spiritual conduit for the Archangels of Light, Angels of Light, Ascended Masters, Spirit Guides, and Loved Ones in Spirit on behalf of the client while also functioning as a Spiritual Coach during sessions. Clients receive spiritual and Divine guidance and support while also playing an active role in ways to incorporate this feedback into their lives. My clients are given the opportunity for self-empowerment and accountability in their own healing and direction in life while being immersed in unconditional love and Divine safety and security from Spirit.

So, what should we be on the lookout for, what’s next in store for you?
My plans for the future include connecting with new clients and deepening my relationship with current clients through the services I provide at my wellness center. I have also expanded my practice to include workshops in order to educate, inspire, and guide those people interested in the Archangels of Light, Angels of Light, Guardian Angels, the chakras, crystals and stones, empath support, and other areas of alternative healing and empowerment. I also hosted my Angel Card Reading workshop this month in my wellness center. It was such a beautiful experience to teach the attendees how to use Angel cards and to also discuss and express to them they are worthy to connect with the Angelic Realm of Light. I look forward to teaching and hosting future workshops at Grace Labyrinth Wellness Center while also offering one on one sessions as well!
