Meet Mary Greenberg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Greenberg.

Mary, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always loved to travel, meet new people and see new places. My favorite childhood memories are of that one week a year that we drove down to stay at the beach. After working in the wine industry for a number of years, my company was taken over and my position eliminated which was hard. I was not sure what direction to take and then I focused on what I feel most passionate about, besides wine, travel was it!

I am very fortunate in knowing a fabulous woman who owns several travel agencies, one here in Arizona and I was able to work at first in the office to learn the travel business and back-office work. I now am an independent contractor with my own business helping people make their dreams come true by making it possible for them to travel wherever they want to go. I can plan any kind of trip you would like, domestic or foreign but I specialize in highly personal, independent trips that are planned with every detail in mind, just for you. No trip is too big or too small and I am never so happy as when my clients come back and tell me what a wonderful time they had! My favorite question of all is, where should I go next!?

Has it been a smooth road?
I think many people nowadays think it’s easy to  just go online and book their vacation but it’s not that simple. So much thought, effort and mostly detail work goes into making sure that your trip runs smoothly from start to finish. I am fortunate to have incredible resources at my fingertips that make life easier and gives my clients so much more value for their hard-earned money. I’m still learning and growing, but hopefully, each struggle brings new lessons for me to learn to continue to make my client’s dreams come true.

Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am a Travel Advisor. I specialize in concierge-style planning, everything is personal, I will make your dinner reservations for you when you are on your trip or arrange a private chef to cook for you or arrange for your private yacht. Highly personalized travel no matter what your budget. I’m proud of the fact that I can get my clients so much more for their money and give them exciting and unique experiences that make lifetime memories.

I think what sets me apart is that I listen closely to exactly what you want, not just once but each and every trip, personal preferences, likes, dislikes, concerns, budget, time away from work or family. I have also, and continue to travel extensively so I can bring you first-hand information about your destination. If I haven’t been there myself, I have a specialist who lives in that country so that you are always taken care of and know the best things to see, do and what to avoid.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Phoenix and the surrounding areas are fabulous! People come here from all over and have a wonderful outlook and love to see new places and experience new things. We have wonderful events, weather and so many great restaurants and bars. It’s a great place to work and live.
