Today we’d like to introduce you to Martha Navarro.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Martha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have lived in Arizona for 18 years, and have been a realtor for just short of those 18 years. I am a branch manager for HomeSmart in Goodyear, AZ. I have a BS in Education and a Masters in Special Education, I was an educator for 20 years prior to becoming a realtor. Furthermore, I have been a community activist and have been a radio host for a couple of radio programs.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Something that fascinates me is to serve the community, during one of the most important decisions in their life, to purchase their home, for some people this is not always an easy task. I love to be there to help my clients during these decisions, tough negotiations, and time-sensitive periods; this is where I really get to be their guide and someone they can depend on to understand and to be someone who they can trust to keep them on track for their dream. Realty is a career that has difficulties depending on several factors that are sometimes out of your control.

I believe that hard work, dedication and perseverance can affect the outcome of any turbulent situation. During the market crash from 2006 to 2011, the road was definitely not smooth. However, I adapted to the situation and inevitably assisted my clients with the short sales of their property and taught others on how they could become investors and build a great future while purchasing homes to flip and/or become rental properties. It brings me immense pride to assist the Latin-American community with their needs in searching for their dream home; it is a career that I not only appreciate but that actively brings me joy every day.

I work as a professional realtor with HomeSmart Realty, where I am able to assist my clients to attain their dreams of homeownership. Because of my unsurpassed drive and hard work ethic, I have won several awards including being a part of the Top 250 Latino Realtors in the U.S. and in 2011, I was recognized as the #1 Top Performing Agent for HomeSmart Realty in AZ. More importantly, I truly have a passion for what I do, to help explain the process of buying and selling homes to my clients is what I do best.

Also, I am very proud of HomeSmart for being innovative to stay relevant in a competitive industry. I believe that my never-ending pursuit of the right home for the right person sets me apart and allows for me to bring the most happiness to all of my clients. On an even more personal level, I love living in Arizona and to be a part of such amazing communities here. Being involved, volunteering my time, and supporting my pears and others to build their business as new entrepreneurs fulfill my desire to connect even further to help others and be a benefit to our community.
