Meet Marbeline Gil of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marbeline Gil

Hi Marbeline, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Wow! Where do I begin, I guess you can say I’ve been a makeup lover since I was a little girl. It was probably back in 2018 or so when I first had my makeup done by a real makeup artist in Las Vegas when I decided to really pursue this journey as a makeup artist.

I worked for Sephora for a small period of time but, I knew then that doing makeup was what I really wanted to do. I was able to find the perfect school here in Phoenix that was able to teach me what I know now. The Makeup School by Faride Lizeth has opened so many doors for me and other women that want to become makeup artists. This school has been amazing to me and other talented women with dreams of being in the makeup industry.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Everyday is a constant reminder that you have to believe in yourself! If I have doubted myself along the way? Yes, plenty of times but I keep a positive attitude, I keep going after my passion. I have a very supportive family and that’s the best that you could have.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a certified makeup artist Arizona based and surrounding areas. I do makeup for brides, special events and Quinceaneras.
I make women feel beautiful and I’m proud of that!

What sets me apart from others is that I’m investing a lot of my time in educating myself to provide the best look for my client’s. I’m not a makeup artist that learned by watching YouTube videos, I actually went to school for it and will continue to educate myself.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was very family oriented. My cousins were my neighbors and playing outside was everything to us. We would go outside and dance and sing like Selena Quintanilla put on red lipstick and one of our friends mom would take video of us.

I’ve always been a very friendly, nonchalant person. Once people get to know me they feel comfortable with me. I love creating content for social media, the after photos after the makeup is done gets me all the time.
