Meet Mackeisha Peeples

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mackeisha Peeples.

Chef Mackeisha Peeples came from humble beginnings. Born and raised in Youngstown, OH. Being raised by a single mother but spent most of her time in her Grandad’s kitchen. At the age of 10 she was introduced to her mother’s girl friend who was Roberta Greene a Classically Trained professional and private chef which impacted and inspired Mackeisha tremendously later down the line in life. That chef took her under her wing and taught her integrity and professionalism at a young age. She also watched food network religiously entranced by the stars and the delicious meals they were preparing.

Mackeisha later in life attended a high school culinary program. She then had a few trials and tribulations in her early 20’s and later welcomed a healthy baby boy. She then decided to pursue her dreams of being a certified chef and turned it into a career attending a culinary school in the evening while juggling work and motherhood during the day. While attending she learned to hone her knife skills and learned multiple cuisines such as: Italian, Mediterranean, Jamaican, Classic French Cuisine, Japanese, Chinese, and German are just to name a few. She graduated September 2018. Mackeisha also did a 6-month externship at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel Restaurant and Banquet Center.

She has worked at high end establishments such as country clubs, & 5- star restaurants and was mentored by trained chefs who traveled the world and shared their education of different cuisines and cooking styles. Working as part of a large culinary team helped to hone her communication as well as leadership skills. Mackeisha has done catering, meal preps and private gatherings for 5+ years with about 7+ years in a professional setting.

She took a leap of faith and moved to Arizona in the beginning of 2020 to further pursue her dreams of becoming a Celebrity Private Chef. She also does motivational speaking to encourage and motivate people of all walks of life especially young people whether they want to pursue a career in hospitality or another passion. Mackeisha prides herself in having integrity, skill, professionalism, and being discreet with ALL her clients. She is available to clients all over Arizona, and the neighboring states California and Las Vegas. Travel can also be arranged if you are in other states.

Has it been a smooth road?
No it hasn’t but I have managed to push through and create opportunities for myself. I have traveled over 1,000 miles to achieve my goals and success despite leaving everything I know behind. I always put God first.

Yes, since I have moved to Arizona within this last year, I have had access to a variety of clients.
