Meet Lucia Pineda of E-Shopping List

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucia Pineda.

Lucia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started 14 years ago when I came to the United States pursuing the so-called American Dream. There have been ups and downs during all this time, but I have never stopped improving and learning from my career as PR and Marketing and from my dad, for me a great example of success.

Over the years, as I worked on different projects related to my field, my husband and I agreed that we needed to create something by and for ourselves that our children were proud of. That is how the whole idea of an online business came up. I decided to create an online store where people could get access online to high-quality accessories. However, having an online business is not as easy as it sounds. Your main tools are patience (because you make many mistakes at the beginning) and time (because you won’t be a top seller since day one).

After figuring all out, I quickly started learning about e-commerce and all that jazz. I had to dedicate very long hours, even holidays to learn and deploy everything related to the business. Now I have been working steadily for six months launching accessories and selling them all over the country.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The hardest part is figuring out what you want to do and how you want to take care of your business. Obviously, there are many other obstacles during the road as searching for good products, getting good providers, managing inventory, online promotion, creating a website, managing social media and many more. Everything is quite important because you invest time and money and you want to become successful.

E-Shopping List – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
E-Shopping is an online store that sells innovated accessories for everyone. I strictly choose the best providers and do a thorough quality control before launching anything online. As for now, I have launched two products: A 100% Memory Foam Travel Neck Pillow Set with incredible softness and compressible material that makes it very convenient for travel due to its small size bag. The Travel Set includes a Curved Airplane Memory Foam Pillow, a 3D Contoured Sleeping Eye Mask, one Pair Of Earplugs and a Luxury Storage bag. The other product is a Stylish Wine and Champagne Bottle Chiller that uses a double-wall insulation stainless steel material that makes it iceless and keep your bottle cold for hours. All these products are sold by my own brand called Tantum.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For me success is when a customer that buys your product leaves a positive feedback, that means I’m making someone happy.
