Meet Loryn Bamberg, Megan Guhman, and Ashley Perez of Arizona Motherhood Co-Operative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Loryn Bamberg, Megan Guhman, and Ashley Perez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Loryn, Megan, and Ashley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
One day, we met at a coffee shop, and discussed a need within the mom community that we wanted to fill! Within 24 hours, we started Arizona Motherhood Co-Operative and hit the ground running. Immediately we had moms we had never even met wanting to help or blog with us– so we knew we were on to something! We have worked now with so many mom-owned businesses and bloggers and we’re only just getting started! We are by no means web site designers or social media gurus but we are learning as we go.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a pretty smooth road, everything has been like the stars aligned for us! We’re all hard workers and let our natural talents show us our roles. We also spend a lot of time communicating and that makes things run smoothly. We feel pretty blessed that things have been fairly easy. However, we are currently hiring for a website designer, of course, this is an unpaid internship and your payment is wine and good company! (a.k.a. we need help with our website)

We’d love to hear more about your business.
What sets us apart is we created a community for all moms who have a story to tell. Not just moms who write well, not just moms who fit the mold, not just for extroverted moms– all moms. We are creating a #momfriend community, we strive for inclusion and acceptance. We’re proud of the fact we accept any and all mommy bloggers, despite writing abilities– where other blogs may not be accepted or published based you based on your writing– we do not turn anyone’s story away… we WANT to help you share your story, and that’s what we’re proud of.

What were you like growing up?
Even though the three of us didn’t grow up together, we all knew we wanted to be a mom. So, it’s only natural that we met in a mommy group!
