Today we’d like to introduce you to Loren Varden.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Loren. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My journey in the waxing industry began just a little over 4 years ago. I was working in a waxing salon that I quickly realized lacked the values and ethics that I felt the waxing world was missing. After 2.5 years I made the tough and terrifying decision to spread my wings and branch out on my own. Something that would allow not only creative freedom, but that would allow me to provide a more personalized, comfortable, and inviting environment for women and men to receive such intimate services. And thus, Stripped Wax & Beauty was born! Stripped offers a Safe space for guests to feel comfortable and confident in themselves but also the service they are receiving. By utilizing clean, quality products with only the best ingredients and exceptional technique, guests can expect a consistently fabulous experience every time! I believe that consistently providing quality service, paired with authenticity of radiating a positive and comforting atmosphere, has been key to my success.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a completely new entrepreneur, the road had plenty of twists, turns, and speed bumps. Learning how to start, manage, and grow a successful business has been something I am constantly learning along the way. Throw any sort of personal life problems in the mix, and it can feel extremely daunting. I leaned heavily on mentors and business coaches to help me navigate through the important “behind the scenes” of the business.

Please tell us about Stripped Wax & Beauty.
Stripped specializes in eyebrow shaping, facial and full body waxing for both women and men, and the latest and greatest in eyebrow services. We take great pride in our work and strive to deliver flawless results that meet our guest’s expectations every time. Aside from the services, Stripped vows to be a positive, judgement free environment. By creating a comfortable, inviting, and dare I say fun waxing experience, guests lose sight of the “scary” stigma of hair removal. In return, the time spent in our studio is like catching up with your best gal pal. Only at Stripped, you leave with an exceptional fuzz free glow. I believe providing that experience is what sets me apart from others. The smiles on my guests faces as they leave is what makes me a proud and successful entrepreneur.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could start over, I would vow to be my most authentic self from the word go. I spent a lot of time comparing myself to others in the industry and trying to match what others were doing and offering. Once I decided to embrace my quirks and integrate them into my business, everything fell into place and success followed.
