Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Moore.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lisa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my career in the Beauty Industry when I was 18 years old. Becoming a Makeup Artist was never my plan. I wanted to be a Wedding Planner, Child Therapist and a backup dancer for Janet Jackson😊 I was recruited by Clinique Cosmetics after meeting someone who worked for the company. I had zero experience and was shocked that they wanted to hire me. I decided to give it a try and quickly Loved learning about skincare and makeup. I had to learn how to do makeup without You Tube, Instagram, etc… After working with Clinique for 4 years, I was then recruited by M.A.C Cosmetics. I spent the next 13 years working for M.A.C as an Artist and Business Manager for the #1 Dillard’s and Nordstrom in the Company. I had such Amazing Artists on my team and learned so much! I had so many incredible opportunities and experiences that I’ll never forget. M.A.C Cosmetics will always hold a special place in my heart. Now, I’m working on my Lisa Moore Beauty Business. I’m a Business Manager and Makeup Specialiste for CHANEL BEAUTY and Personal Stylist at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My 20+ year career has had its ups and downs. Way more ups!! The Beauty Industry and Retail world has changed. Thankfully, I have the most amazing and loyal Clients who have followed me on this journey. Truth is, there’s so much competition in the Beauty Industry now.

Lisa Moore Beauty – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My Business, Lisa Moore Beauty provides Makeup for Weddings, Photoshoots, TV, Celebrity, Lessons & Special Events. I’m a featured Makeup Artist on The Knot. I have received the Knot Best of Weddings Award. My work has been featured in the following. The Knot, Arizona Weddings, Brides, Phoenix Bride & Groom, Rock n Roll Bride, Oxygen, Sports Illustrated, Paradise Valley Lifestyle, So Scottsdale, Scottsdale Health, AZ Foothills & Arizona Redbook. I specialize in giving my clients a memorable experience. I love making my clients feel special and Beautiful. I teach them how to be more Confident and how to be the best versions of themselves. I believe that everyone is Beautiful and I focus on bringing out someone’s natural beauty. I don’t like saying I changing hiding or fixing someone’s appearance. I get so many women who want to look like someone else, makes me sad. I tell them that the world would be a very boring place if we all looked the same, Right? I would say what sets me apart from others is my work ethic, passion, honesty and commitment to giving my clients the very best service.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
So far, my proudest moment in my career is when I worked my way up into Management at M.A.C. At the time, I was a recently divorced Mom with two young daughters. I worked so hard to get to where I wanted to be.
