Meet Lidia Napoli

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lidia Napoli.

Lidia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My first experience in the show business was back in 1997, a TV game show on Italia Uno. I was lucky enough to call and participate by phone. In the same period of time, I fell in love with acting in a summer camp. At age 18, I started to do auditions and now I’m so proud of all the things I’ve achieved. I’ve spent half of my life on set and recording. I’ve produced my own films and took part of festivals all around the globe. I wouldn’t trade what I do for anything else in the world because I love it so much.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Living on my own since I was still a teenager, doing endless auditions and being rejected all the time at the beginning are just the first ones of the list but the struggles make you stronger.

Please tell us about your work.
Besides acting on sets, I write my own projects and I distribute them worldwide. I follow every step of the way, from pre-production to post-production. It takes time and effort.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
The summers spent in a wonderful country house. The simple things, the lovely Christmases, my sweet grandparents. Having fun riding my bicycle, enjoying life without technology.
