Meet Lexi Peers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lexi Peers.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I’ve only been photographing for about a year now but I know I’ve found a passion for life. I’ve already grown so much through the help of people around me helping me bring my funky ideas to life and I’m eternally grateful. I like to make images that tell a story, even if that story is not one of my own.

Please tell us about your art.
I get inspired by everyday objects. I like taking portraits with things often overlooked or even thought of as worthless. A pile of stones or an old tractor is enough to get my brain going!

Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
It’s not about the equipment, it’s how you use it. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t afford the best equipment. Keep with it and work your way up.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
My main platform right now is Instagram @lexhallephotography. I am currently building a website, which is incredibly time consuming and tedious. But going and showing love on my posts on ig in any way you can would be greatly appreciated!
