Meet Leo Jurgens

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leo Jurgens.

Leo, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started shooting with my sister and we shortly formed a partnership and soon began taking on jobs for colleague holidays and weddings – along with the occasional trip up north for shoots of our own! Now, having some experience under our belt, we still shoot together but have branched out to find our niche.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a little challenging branching out on my own – trying to find my style and story to tell. I find myself always consulting friends for ideas on what next great shoot to try.

Please tell us about your work.
I enjoy exploring our great country and documenting its beauty along the way. I find it most incredible to have someone who loves to hike and explore and capture their story going on a new adventure and finding fun new spots to explore.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I plan to take a remote-year and travel with a fifth-wheel all across the country and create an Ansel Adams-Esque portfolio to share with the world wide web!
