Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrence James Taylor Jr.

Lawrence James, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well, after combat injuries, I started The Knight’s in VA where I was stationed with the goal of bringing professional basketball back to VA and back to the fame who loved the VA Squires ABA Team.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road was very smooth until internal problems, as well as marital problems, proceeded to almost destroy everything that was built, which prompted my retiring from military and relocating here to Az to start over again, in starting over again. I had to dissolve the business and re-establish it here in AZ after I set up my skill development company called Real Grind Hoops LLC almost four years ago now.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Seven City Knight’s & Real Grind Hoops LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
I am one of the foremost skill development trainers in the world who has created me if the new drill and teaching methods used by all in skill development and skill enhancement. My areas of expertise are footwork ball handling as well as ball control, court spacing and awareness, also body composition.

So, what should we be on the lookout for, what’s next in store for you?
I plan to continue to change the game I love and keep on grinding, as I develop new drills on the daily and introduce them to the world. I would also love to put together a video series to help players nationwide.
